Drain Jet Cleaning

Phew! What’s that smell?! Chances are it could be your drains. If you constantly smell foul odours from your drains, or worse, they tend to block up causing flooding and sewage contamination - you might want to think about having them professionally cleared with our blocked drain jet cleaning service.

With a 24 hours drains unblocking service, we specialise in emergency drain clearing.

Domestic Drain Cleaning

Dealing with dirty drains at home is never a likable experience. They can be messy, and unpleasant to deal with. Luckily The Ideal Group is on hand to quickly and painlessly clean and unblock your drains with our jet cleaning service. We use modern jetting equipment, with units capable of operating between 1000 and 4000 psi. These pump out 12 to 20 gallons of water per minute. These units are suitable for all domestic applications.

The duration of the drain jet cleaning process depends on many factors - the length of the drain, the diameter, and the amount of deposits inside them. Usually it takes only minutes to clear a blockage, but it can take up to several hours. Tougher blockages such as solid fat and grease will take a bit longer, but it’s nothing a high pressure water jet cannot dislodge.

Commercial Drain Cleaning

Our drain jetting service is also suitable for large scale commercial applications. If your business or premises are in need of professional drain cleaning, with just one phone call you can arrange for us to visit and assess your needs. We can handle all types and size of job, and we even have a 24 hour service if you are in need of emergency assistance.

Our jet cleaners are trained professionals who are experienced in clearing all kinds of blockages. They will assess the job first and give you advice on the best way to unblock your drains. Sometimes you may find that jetting isn’t advisable or simply not required. If that’s the case, our drainage engineers will inform you. Our engineers are also trained in all aspects of safety; especially as operating high pressure drain cleaning hoses raises a number of safety concerns. We will make sure the working area is safe by isolating open manholes with barriers and keeping jetting and water feed hoses tidy. All our engineers carry the proper safety equipment and clothing with them.

How Drain Jet Cleaning Can Help You

One of the best and most economical ways to clear a drain is through high pressure water drain jetting. Unlike using drain rods, jetting hoses can be used to negotiate bends and junctions and can even be passed around gully traps.

Traditional drain rods will get nowhere near the reach and power of a hundred metres of jetting hose pumping out up to 18 gallons of water a minute. Your drains will soon be clear, and will remain clear a lot longer than using rods which tend to simply poke holes in blockages. Jetting breaks apart stubborn blockages into much smaller pieces which then get washed away rather than collecting together further down the pipe. You will usually find that after jet cleaning your drain, it will give you years of problem and blockage free drains.
