In 2009, we formalised our quality process with an ISO 9001:2008 accreditation. We’re proud to say that The Ideal Group was one of first companies in our sector to apply for and achieve this accreditation first time round.

The Ideal Group have developed and implemented this quality management system to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide a product that meets both customer and statutory / regulatory requirements. It helps the group address customer satisfaction through the effective application of documented systems and procedures, the prevention of nonconformity and aids continual improvements in all areas of the business.
Achilles Building Confidence accreditation
In August 2012 we joined Achilles Building Confidence and achieved accreditation. Achilles’ rigorous procedure includes a broad range of strict criteria pertinent to Health, Safety and Environmental practices which are fully assessed and audited in order to provide customers with benchmarked performance indicators.
Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS)
CHAS is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers and to organisations looking for suitably competent suppliers. CHAS is dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualifications to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard.
Constructionline
UK’s largest register for pre-qualified contractors and consultants. In terms of efficiency, time and cost saving and best practice, Constructionline is proven to deliver for public and private sector organisations alike. Their service is recommended by the OGC Common Minimum Standards and The Local Government Task Force. The Ideal group’s registration with Constructionline provides our customers with an assurance of high standards and appropriate training and insurances, monitored by an independent body.
Construction Skills Certification Scheme
The CSCS card was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents. A CSCS card holder can demonstrate proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others and is frequently a requirement when working on construction sites. CSCS competency tests cover many different occupations and skill sets, all Ideal managers and technicians are required to hold the appropriate card.
National Carpet Cleaners Association
NCCA is the only nationally recognised trade association dedicated to the cleaning of carpets, hard flooring and soft furnishings. NCCA members are trained professionals and can undertake work in many industry related areas.
International Powered Access Federation
IPAF promotes the safe and effective use of powered access worldwide. Set up in 1983, IPAF is a not-for-profit members’ organisation that represents the interests of manufacturers, distributors, users, and rental and training companies. Ideal technicians who use powered access equipment attend training courses run by IPAF to ensure their own safety and competence in using equipment such as scissor lifts or cherry pickers.
