A report released today recognises the success of water firms in the Southeast this winter.
Representatives from the water firms met with Consumer Council for Water to talk about how well they coped during the recent cold weather.
The water watchdog says all companies performed well and reacted quickly to customer’s needs. Further success is forecast as companies confidently state that lessons learned this year mean they will be even better prepared in future.
Their good service was based their performance, how well prepared they were and how well information was communicated with customers.
It comes as no surprise to learn that winter can be the most testing time for water companies. With the majority of domestic water-related disruption correlating with drops in temperature a reliable service is vital.
