Toxic spill - Bromine decontamination
A box of liquid bromine has been split in a cupboard in the science lab of school in Bedfont. Twenty five fire crew have attended site and stated dangerous spillage has to be cleaned by professional company. Due to the extreme toxicity and corrosivity of Br2 any spill of this material must be cleaned up with great care. School needed urgent removing, disposal & cleaning of affected area. School requested also all other chemicals to be removed & disposed of. They called upon Ideal Group who attended and decontaminated classroom.

Oil Spill - School in Gravesend, Kent
Oil spill cleaning. Forklift has split hydraulic oil onto the tarmac road, another vehicle has then driven through it all over the school yard. Ideal fast response prevented closure of the school.

Deep cleaning of Medway Hospital
Medway Maritime Hospital responded promptly to the Government’s directive for all hospitals to be deep cleaned and disinfected by 31st March 2008, and called on local Kent cleaning company, The Ideal Group, to clean seven wards in the hospital.
The Ideal Group deployed up to ten people at a time to work on the job to ensure that the cleaning project was all underway and completed in good time.
