Can you clean only the oil contaminated area?
Yes, we can clean a small or large area but usually it is more aesthetically pleasing to clean an area around the initial spill as well
Are you able to remove hydraulic oil residues in a factory?
Yes – specialist bio-remediation and chemical cleaning can remove hydraulic and other synthetic oils from most areas.
Will cleaning only the oil spill leave the rest of the area looking dirty?
Potentially yes, depending on the surface that has been affected by the spill – technicians will work to blend into a large area or clean totally a smaller area.
Can you tell me about bio-remediation? What happens in the process?
Bio-remeidation is process where a chemically produced enzyme is used to digest oil and change it’s chemical process – it is a more cost effective way in many cases to clean oil from soil or other surfaces and may avoid the expense of excavations and disposal of contaminated waste.
What is the procedure for removing oil from tarmac?
Tarmac is an oil based product and some chemicals usually used for cleaning oil can damage the tarmac – the ideal group can use specialist chemicals and hot pressure wash systems to remove oil residues and staining from most surfaces.
How quickly can you attend an oil remediation job?
Initial treatment can be completed within a few days of a clients request – the process may require several visits to site to ensure that all oil residue has been removed from the area and soil sampling can be undertaken to ensure that levels of hydrocarbon in the soil has returned to acceptable levels.
How much will an oil spill clean job cost?
Each job presents its own unique challenges and as such will be costed on the basis of a survey by one of our team.
