Office and store clean in Tenterden Kent
A break in occurred at the Holland & Barrett store in Kent which lead to liquid soap, floor cleaner and domestic bleach being poured onto the carpet areas of the manager’s office and throughout the store.
The store needed to be cleaned and re-opened as soon as possible in order to limit any loss of business. The branch manager’s office was most affected and needed to be thoroughly cleaned. The strong smell of bleach odours was also now present throughout the shop premises and needed neutralising.
This all needed to be completed as quickly as possible so as to not inconvenience the staff and importantly any customers visiting the store.
The concoction of fluids poured onto the floor had been “walked through” caused numerous areas of staining to the carpets throughout the store; The Ideal Groups most experienced carpet cleaning technician Brian Gore attended and at first applied an environmentally friendly pre-spray on to affected carpet areas.
Ensuring the areas were well ventilated Brian then completed the clean with a truck mounted carpet cleaning system. This would remove all of the odours arising from the chemicals and clean the carpet. It is very rare to be able to successfully clean bleach spilled onto carpet as it will quickly change the colouration of the carpet and leave white patches.
Fortunately the mixture of cleaning fluids thrown onto the floor by the intruders had not permanently damaged the carpet and it was cleaned very successfully. The client was delighted with the results achieved by Brian and The Ideal Group’s truck mounted cleaning system. Brian not only ensured the carpets were left with no discolouration, but also managed to remove the pungent odours within the store.
The Ideal Group were called in and within a very short period the store was available to be re-opened with literally no apparent long term harm to any of the carpeted areas. The store Manager was delighted with the service provided by The Ideal Group;
