It is a non-commercial scheme available to suppliers and to organisations looking for suitably competent suppliers. CHAS is dedicated to completing health and safety pre-qualifications to a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard.

Construction Skills Certification Scheme

The CSCS card was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents. A CSCS card holder can demonstrate proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others and is frequently a requirement when working on construction sites. CSCS competency tests cover many different occupations and skill sets, all Ideal managers and technicians are required to hold the appropriate card.

International Powered Access Federation

IPAF promotes the safe and effective use of powered access worldwide. Set up in 1983, IPAF is a not-for-profit members’ organisation that represents the interests of manufacturers, distributors, users, and rental and training companies. Ideal technicians who use powered access equipment attend training courses run by IPAF to ensure their own safety and competence in using equipment such as scissor lifts or cherry pickers.
